The main intention behind designing Küpla was to explore proportion systems in design and understand how they influence aesthetics. This project focused on using the √5 proportion to create a form that feels naturally balanced and pleasing. The result is a lamp with a soft, mushroom-like shape—playful yet minimal. Inspired by Scandinavian design principles, Küpla (which means 'bubble' in Finnish) reflects both simplicity and warmth in its form.
